Brush Cleaning Sponge

Keep your brushes in top condition with this practical and efficient Brush Cleaning Sponge, housed in a durable, rust-proof aluminum tin. The tin is designed not only to protect the sponge but also to prevent the evaporation of liquids, keeping your cleaning solution ready for use at any time.

The sponge itself is washable, reusable, and reversible, making it an eco-friendly and cost-effective tool that you can rely on for countless painting sessions. Use it on its own or pair it with accessories like a paint palette, Brush Rinser, or Brush Repair Gel for a complete brush maintenance system.

To maintain and preserve your natural hair brushes, moisten the sponge with water and add a few drops of Brush Soap. Gently sweep your miniature paint brush across the sponge’s textured surface to remove residual paint, detangle bristles, and restore the tip’s shape.

For extra precision, you can make a cross-shaped incision in the center of the sponge. This allows you to insert the brush tip directly into the sponge to refine, sharpen, and reshape the point, giving you greater control over your detail work. Unlike harsher cleaning methods, this process is gentle and safe for natural bristles, helping prolong the life of your most delicate brushes.

The reversible design means you can flip it during use to get a fresh surface, allowing you to keep working longer before needing to clean it. It's especially handy during long sessions of terrain building, model painting, or any workflow involving weathering pigment powders and frequent color changes.
